POSSE

As stated on the indieweb.org POSSE page:

POSSE is an abbreviation for Publish (on your) Own Site, Syndicate Elsewhere, the practice of posting content on your own site first, then publishing copies or sharing links to third parties (like social media silos) with original post links to provide viewers a path to directly interacting with your content.

So, this is my very basic POSSE strategy. All my website posts are hosted here, and most of my web presence can also be found on this website in general.

I’ve currently stopped cross-posting to my Mastodon account, despite still posting to my mumbles page. If I post there, I’ll try to ensure it’s linked from a published mumble.

If I continue to expand my web presence elsewhere, I’ll try to think about how to implement a POSSE strategy there as well.
